I didn't have a problem with the words - you can do similar things in PSP - very time consuming!!!--- but how did they do the "Oscilloscope Thing" with the sound file?????????

Actually, the audio spectrum effect is the easy part of that video. After Effects comes with Audio Spectrum and Audio Waveform plugins. There is also a Trapcode plugin called Sound Keys. What each of them does is convert the audio file to keyframes which are then used to create a visual effect from the audio. Each plugin has a whole bunch of parameters that are editable to the point that your output options are almost infinite.

It's also possible other software was used. But they all essentially do the same thing. Below is a one minute video file I made by sampling the audio from the YT video. Didn't take long to do using the Audio Spectrum plugin. To do the words in PSP the way it appears in the video, imho, would take a really, really, really long time. You have to consider what your time is worth vs what you get out of it and the fact it will never look exactly like the video.
