Slide Show for 4K TV

Has anyone been able to generate a UHD slide show to make use of the 4K TV sets available?

I built a short test mp4 video and converted it using the required S4UD Maker in order to play it via the USB input for a Samsung 4K TV. It didn't play well at all. It was off-center and didn't look very good. I haven't tried anything lately.
