I just got a new computer. Came with WIN 7 Pro. Updated to Win 10 Pro. Running PSP 6.0.3410. So far every thing is working find.
I don't see any reason to upgrade to PSP 7. You get music you can not edit and there is a bunch of free or very cheap music available on the internet.

Hi.
I have updated from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 and Proshow 6.0.3410 is running beautifully. As a bonus the Enthusiasts site is also behaving as it should - unlike with Windows 7 so bonus for me!

In total agreement.
I AM running PSP7, but (for me) It was because of my being within the free upgrade period. If I would've had to PAY for the upgrade I wouldn't have bought it. There just wasn't enough (again, to ME) to warrant a reach into my pockets. I am thinking about reinstalling/using v6, because I - for one - really dislike the 'flat faced' tool bar. Not only that, but it seems to me that PSP6 ran a bit smoother than v7.

Re: is the proshow producer 6 compatible with w10?
Hi Everyone
I have successfully upgraded to Windows 10 and I thought everything had gone well.
However when I tried to edit a slide in Producer 6, I was confronted with a problem that I haven't yet found a solution to.
The Slide Options screen is too big for my monitor and no matter how I try, I cannot gain access to the bottom of the screen to ok my edits.
Anyone else having similar problems or any ideas how I can fix this.
All other software on my PC appears to be functioning normally
Regards

This is not going to be very helpful and I hope someone can jump in and tell you specifically what to do. I had the same problem when I moved to Windows 10 and eventually got it fixed, but I cannot figure out how I did it. Check all the preferences. The best I can tell you is that it CAN be fixed.

Re: is the proshow producer 6 compatible with w10?
Thanks Tdew for that.
At least I know now that the problem is not unique to my system.
I will do as you suggest and try out various options in the preferences
Thanks again.

Wish I could remember what exactly fixed it, but at least you know that there is a fix.

Hello
I have 7 and I can fix the options window size in the preference menu. I am quite sure you'll find it also in version 6.

Dougal, I think I found it again!
Open a show, put a slide in it, go to effects.
Down at the very bottom on the left side there are icons.
On version 7 there's a search, Play, Keyframe editor and then a window and copy.
If you hover over the window, it says
Slide Options Window Editor
More options for this slide, including the size of this window.
If you click on it, there are many sizes to choose from.
Hope that works.

Re: is the proshow producer 6 compatible with w10?
Hello
Thank you everyone for your encouragement.
I have thoroughly checked all of the options available in the preferences dialogue and found nothing in relation to the slide options window size.
But you actually can change the size of the Slide Options window with Producer 6 to give you more room to work on your slides.
This is achieved by clicking on the "Gear" icon at the bottom of the Slide Options" screen next to the Key Frame Editor button.
From the dialogue box that opens up there are a range of window sizes to choose from.
The default setting is 1440 x 900 which in Windows 10 (on my system) was too big for me to access the bottom of the screen.
Hope this can help someone else who may encounter this irritating problem after an upgrade to Windows 10.
Thanks again everyone for your help

I am running Win 10 Pro and still use version 5.0.3222 of Producer. Works fine, although I did have to reinstall Producer after the Win 10 install.
