Hello

Another thread about Windows 10: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=23431&p=175143#p175143

I installed it on an old machine then my tests are limited. But on our french Proshow forum several people have updated with no, or little, problems.

If you have a new machine, you'll have the possibility to restore the original state (recovery partition).
Then if Windows 10 interest you, I would upgrade before installing any software, then install a few ones, play and take a decision. It will be easy to recover the initial configuration if you do not like W10...

I've updated to Windows 10 and so far don't see any problems with ProShow or any of my other programs. I did have a bit of a glitch with my dropbox. Somehow in the transition my files all got changed to read only. It took some "googling" to find out how to correct it, as just uncheckiing the box didn't hold. It kept reverting.
If anyone else runs into the read only glitch, let me know and I'll give more details of what worked.

Good to know, but since I have an IT background, I think I will hold off at least until the first bug patches are out. Want to make sure that everything is compatible with hardware, devices, etc.

If you have portable drives or a network, you evidently have to change the sharing permissions on each one in order to be able to use them again.
