Cannot change slide order

Postby zcole » Sun Dec 21, 2014 8:12 am

I am using Producer 5.0 and, for some reason, cannot figure out how to change the order of the slides. It's been a couple of years since I used ProShow and I have forgotten a lot. I click on a slide and attempt to drag it to where I want it... I get a little hour-glass... but then the slide doesn't move. It's like the order is somehow locked. What have I forgotten?

Not sure what you are running into. I just double checked here on mine (although v6 but I don't remember a change in that feature) and was able to move slides around in a test show without issue. Click the slide to select it, then click/drag to new location on the timeline. Worked fine for me with a number of slides. I verified I could do it in both "slide view" and "timeline view" also.

Thanks for the reply. I had to go out for a while and my computer went to sleep. Upon waking, everything now works just as you describe and as I remembered. Don't know what the problem was before, but all is well now.
Thanks again for your help.
