effects category
I am trying to create a couple new categories for slide effects but can't seem to figure out how its done. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Re: effects category
Assign a slide effect to the new category. Empty categories are automatically removed.
You may assign a slide effect to multiple categories.

Re: effects category
Thanx for the reply..but What is the method for creating new categories for slide styles other than from photodex? for instance...Halloween, Chrismas,vacation,etc....
Re: effects category
Sorry, I wasn't clear ... When you assign a slide effect to a category, you can enter a category name that does NOT exist yet and it is created upon clicking on the "OK".
You can't create a category name without first selecting a style to assign to that category. If you're creating a style that has never been assigned a style, ProShow assumes the style category you've supplied in the "Create a Style" dialog is going to have that new effect assigned to it. In that case, if the category does not yet exist ... it will be created when you click on the OK.
When in the "manage" categories, you select a style, then click on "categorize." In the "Categories" dialog, click on "+ add" to create a new category. You can select as many categories as desired to assign to an effect. If the category you add doesn't exist, it will be created and the style(s) you selected will be assigned to it (along with any others it might already be assigned to).
