ImgBurn & Producer

Postby Bob Spree » Tue Jan 08, 2013 8:30 am

Hi all
I have an old Producer show that I burned to disk some time ago.
I now want to create an iso file from the disk so that I can play the iso file on my computer and then, using ImgBurn, burn some more disks.
I can create an iso file but it will not play.
I have told the iso file to open in Proshow Presenter but with no luck.
What can anyone suggest?

Bob . . . I don't believe that the Proshow "Presenter" plug-in will play anything except your ProShow slideshow file. You need a different program to play an ISO file.

Read this informaion and I think you may find a solution: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive ... _files.cfm

Good luck :-)

Two things - first Imgburn not only will burn your DVD's from an ISO, it will also create an ISO from the DVD you created previously (it will not do it for the commercial DVD's that have the ccs encryption). The free VLC player works fairly well for playing "iso" files you have on your system (VLC gets confused if you have an intro that plays before the menu, but that is a minor problem you just need to be aware of).

You can't have too many gadgets or too much disk space !!
mikey (PSP6, Photoshop CS6, Vegas Pro 14, Acid 7, BluffTitler, Nikon D300s, D810)
Lots of PIC and Arduino microprocessor stuff too !!
