Filename on Slide

there used to be a way to have the filename appear on the slide in the timeline rather than the slide #. i had to reinstall PSP and cant find out where i can do this? (this is different from the name under the thumbnails)

If I understand the question, I think the answer is on the Captions dialog.

Caption/Caption Settings

From there choose Insert Macro. It is in light blue, not a button. From there you will find FileName as a predefined macro.

Select Edit - Preferences - Appearance - then in the top box, choose "use name of top layer"
