"Star Wars" scrolling
What's the secret to doing the "Star Wars" scrolling when using captions???...and can/will it be transparent on top of another image??? ....doneastman
Well the simplest version is to just select "galactic scroll" for the main
portion of the caption (not the "fly in" or "fly out" option). I think you
can adjust the opacity of the text for partial transparancy.

Mikey -- No opacity adjustment in PSG for captions (color, outline, shadow).
Don -- You might be able do it with text in an editor but I wouldn't use transparent text in a galactic scroll -- that can be hard enough to read as it is. That scroll can be a little tricky to set up and get the timing right but it works. Suggest you set up a slide with a single caption and play with it, then add a few more to see how it all works.
