animated backgrounds

Postby dennocb » Tue Nov 20, 2007 6:39 am

I have seen a lot of slide shows with animated backgrounds. Is there a place where these can be purchased? I have also seen some with animations that move across the screen, and example would be the butterflies, how do I find things like this? I have done searches, but guess I am not looking in the right places. I am just starting out with PSG so am still learning.

Thanks!

Dennis

Good Morning,

If it was one of my shows you saw butterflies that would be from Digital Hotcakes. Other sites are our very own Jennifer Weeks and her Choice Backgrounds site. Then of course there is Digital Juice. I think these are the best three but there are many more out there as well. VMG is one that focus's mostly on worship. Hope this helps! Cheers Jan

Jan,

Was that your show with the flowers and the butterfly changing the color of the picture?? I loved it! I was waffling on which show to buy and when I saw that video, I knew I had to get Proshow! It was so beautiful! Little did I know that the butterfly image was not included... LOL.

I took a butterfly from Scrapbook Factory and used photoshop elements to make it a png file then I used it in my daughter's show. So THANK YOU!
I am also learning how important it is to have good pictures so I am looking into new cameras. Then all I have to do is figure out how to use it! ;)

I did Jan, thanks. It was way easier than I thought it would be.

I am having so much fun with png files. Al didn't mean to, but he got me into photoshop with his one picture show. I am like a mad woman now, don't get in my way! ;)

I'm learning a lot, but have a loooong way to go.

Talk to you soon and have a very happy Thanksgiving.

Jan, I had not seen that one yet. It was very sweet and I do love those butterflies. I went to the links you both provided and I can see I could get myself into trouble!

I can see my explanation to my husband...

Me: Honey, I had to have those butterflies.
Honey: What butterflies?
Me: The blue ones that flutter by.
Honey: Flutter by?
Me: Yes the butterflies that flutter by.
Honey: And they're Blue?
Me: yes and Yellow
Honey: blue and yellow butterflies that flutter by?
Me: Exactly!

Think he would understand??

I sometimes get the strong silent treatment.

The problem is, I don't notice I'm getting it.

Women should give up on the silent treatment. I learned a long time ago that, unless I tell my husband I'm mad and precisely why I'm mad, he's totally oblivious, which makes me even madder, and what's the point in that?
