Women should give up on the silent treatment. I learned a long time ago that, unless I tell my husband I'm mad and precisely why I'm mad, he's totally oblivious, which makes me even madder, and what's the point in that?

(actually, in reality when you are married to an Italian, there is usually little doubt they
are mad !!! ) (even when silent, you will notice steam coming from their ears ... )
