Working with HMT files
I am working on a show for a family member and they have sent me cd's with the pics i need. However, one of the cd's has all the files listed as E:\HIGHMAT\IMAGE. What the heck are HMT files and how to i open them. When I select a pic from the batch it opens as a very tiny thumbnail.?????

Never heard of it but here's some info:

Microsoft has discontinued development on the HighMAT technology. Therefore, the HighMAT extension to the Microsoft Windows XP CD Writing Wizard is no longer offered by using Windows Update. The wizard update is still be available to any interested customers. To obtain this update, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... rd_enu.exe (http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... rd_enu.exe)
For more information about HighMAT, visit the following HighMAT Web site:

---------more----------------
This link is for a download of a highmat viewer, I have never done this but would think that there would be a way with this viewer to save each image in the viewr and save as a different file type like JPG or something.

HighMAT is a way for media formats like JPG, MP3, WMA, WMV and MPEG-4 to be organized and published on a CD. DVD support is planned. As of June 2007: Microsoft has discontinued development on the HighMAT technology. Therefore, the HighMAT extension to the Microsoft Windows XP CD Writing Wizard is no longer offered by using Windows Update.
