Posting on YouTube
I would like to put my PSG slideshow up on YouTube. How exactly would I do that in terms of output format, etc.?
I don't see it specifically addressed in either the PSG helpfiles or on YouTube.
Thanks!

Hi Stacey,
I don't know that much about YouTube, but a quick browse through the help files give us this info:
"Once you're happy with your final result, you'll need to save the video in a format that YouTube can accept in order to upload. Unless you're a professional video producer, we recommend that you save your videos as either QuickTime .MOV, Windows .AVI, or .MPG files— these are the most common formats and they work well within our system. We specifically recommend the MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 320x240 resolution with MP3 audio. Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your clips look better on YouTube."
So looks like you have several choices since PSG supports at least a couple of those formats for output.
Good luck and let us all know how it worked for you.

Nice show. Any chance you've shared the drive-in mask anywhere? I've seen it in your other shows too... would love to add it into my tools.
I have an old TV pic that I've hollowed out the screen to make a mask out of... I am willing to email it to anyone who would like it from the community here,
thanks Jeff

Hi Bob,
Am attempting to use your solution to put a show on YouTube, when I created a Flash show, 4 files were created.
html - swf - intro.flv - show0.flv
Do I upload all to YouTube or is there one file that will do the job?
Thanks
Neville

Sort of off-topic, but if you use the mp4 format, the show will play on the iphone's You Tube widget.

OK, but I'm getting out of my depth here, how do I create a show in mp4 format?
I'm using PSP 3.1942
Best I can find is I attempt to create a Video
Type = Custom
Only choices I can see are mpeg 1 or 2.
thanks
Neville
