There's a function on the motion effects tab that lets you match the starting position and/or ending position of the slide before or after the one you're working with. Use that to get things lined up right.
It doesn't have to take any longer but you may need it to do so. However much time you allowed for them to all move on screen now has to move them individually so that's 1/4 the time, which might make the motion disturbingly quick. You'll just have to fiddle with it to see what looks right.
As for the timing, you may either have to adjust how long the songs go by only using parts of them or adjust the time values for the slides to make it come out right. Or you can add/drop images to adjust the time. I've found it very difficult to get the visuals to look right and also have it fit the audio track just right. Difficult, as in dumb luck if it works. If it's close you can just add/subtract small increments across the show or a section to make it work but if it's off very much the adjustments get more difficult.
