How have they made the framing for each slide - are they part of a pack you buy, or has the user been creating them up first themselves in another programme?

These pages are done with Digital Scrapbooking techniques. THere was just a thread going that gave a lot of great scrapbook sites where many templates and backgrounds and embellishments are very inexpensive and many are free. I have listed the link to that thread below. Have fun!!
